The International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM) has officially selected Jeddah as the host city for its highly anticipated 2028 Annual Meeting, in proud collaboration with the Manal Fakeeh Scientific Chair: Studies in Substance Use, Addiction Management and Rehabilitation (MFSC-SUAMR) at Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences

This prestigious event reflects ISAM’s growing global outreach and marks a significant milestone for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its ongoing efforts to advance addiction medicine, research, and public health. The selection of Jeddah underscores the city’s emerging role as a regional leader in substance use prevention, treatment innovation, and rehabilitation science.

The MFSC-SUAMR will play a central role in organizing and hosting the conference, working alongside ISAM’s Head Office. The event is expected to attract leading addiction medicine experts, researchers, clinicians, and policymakers from around the world for a rich program of scientific exchange and capacity-building.
